Manager Program / NPD - Automotive OEM Role

Role: Manager Projects / Program

Job Location: Sriperumbudur

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare business case for new RFQs received from sales team.

• Solid knowledge APQP, PMP process & tools, worked with IATF 16949 and AIAG standards.

• Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards, completing technical studies.

• Understanding CSR and communicating to Cross Functional Teams.

• Prepare Project Time plan based OEMs Milestones to meet the Project Gate review deliverables.
• Establish good working relationships with customers by regular contacts / personal site visits to resolve problems regarding delayed/planned activities.
• Driving the ECN/ PCN meetings when the changes identified or required for product development and confirm designs with CFT team
• Facing customer Audit as per customer internal self-assessment report.
• Prepare quote and review with finance team for approval in ROI in line with the Management guidelines.

• Negotiation with customer in both cost and timing.

• Developing new concepts & technology to satisfy customers requirements through DOE and VAVE Activities.
• Driving individual Project Phase inputs and outputs to meet customer specific requirements on time.

• Releasing BOM for RFQ, PROTO & PPAP levels in PLM applications.

• PPAP submission to customer and Customer witness in Production run.]Fulfilling customer PPAP requirements in OEM Portals and PSW sign off with customer.

• Conducting brainstorming and invite suppliers proposal for the cost reduction to meet the target price.

Candidate Background:

• BE Mechanical Graduate with atleast 12+ years of work experience in Program / Project Management & NPD.
• Should be working with leading Automotive OEM / Tier 1 Majors.
• Expertise in Project management activities involving Project Scheduling, Phase reviews, Product concern resolution and Cost workings.

Compensation Budget is limited to INR 17 Lakhs per annum including variable incentives.
