Manager, Procurement and Vendor Management

The position is based in New Delhi/Noida within the PROCUREMENT department. As a part of the role of IT Procurement Excellence, you will be responsible for leading the procurement life-cycle for IT hardware, software, licenses, and services. This involves collaborating with internal tech, security, and finance teams to anticipate needs and ensure timely sourcing. You will handle RFPs, RFQs, negotiations, cost analysis, and vendor finalization with a strategic approach. Vendor Management & Governance will be a key aspect of the role, requiring you to manage end-to-end vendor relationships, track performance, enforce SLAs, and handle contract renewals. It will also involve evaluating vendor risk, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and establishing vendor scorecards. You will need to continuously optimize the vendor base to drive cost-efficiency, innovation, and scalability. In terms of Compliance & Documentation, you will be expected to maintain procurement documentation, audit trails, service agreements, and asset tracking. Compliance with organizational procurement guidelines and statutory requirements is crucial. The minimum qualifications and experience required for this role include a B.Tech / BE in IT or Computer Science with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in procurement and vendor management within an IT- or tech-focused company. Key attributes that we are looking for in the ideal candidate include strong negotiation skills, a good understanding of IT product cycles, procurement software, and ERP systems.
