Job Description

As a Manager of Performance and Reward Analytics at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation and completion of critical dashboards and reports for Group or Global compensation specialist teams. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding data needs, consolidating compensation data using HSBC systems, and completing relevant reports and analytics. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare, analyze, and present meaningful reporting that drives effective business insights. Your ability to communicate complex problems and data analysis to key decision makers in a simple and articulate manner using appropriate tools and visualizations will be essential. You will be responsible for extracting reports from multiple sources, converting raw data into presentable recommendations, and ensuring high data integrity for informed business decisions. Additionally, you will work with other members of the HR COEs to improve data accuracy within internal systems and maintain databases according to the Group Performance and Reward architecture. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, economics, mathematics, or engineering disciplines, along with 4-5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting. Proficiency in MS Excel, including VBA, is crucial, and experience with analytical tools and methods such as statistical methods or BI platforms like R, Python, or PowerBI will be advantageous. Your ability to understand business needs and objectives, create detailed spreadsheets, charts, and presentations, and demonstrate excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills will be key to your success. Having experience working for a HR/Reward analytics function is a plus, and the ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure and flexible work environment is essential. Exposure to working with multi-country based teams, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate through complex matrix organizations will be beneficial. Your strong consulting, research, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills will contribute to your effectiveness in this role.
