Role Overview
We are seeking a Manager, Operations (Land Acquisition) to take ownership of the final
completion and closure of our land acquisition project. This role demands a problem-
solving mindset, negotiation skills, and good communications. The candidate will be
responsible for resolving pending issues with farmers, local leaders, and client stakeholders,
ensuring all land and contractual commitments are fulfilled, and driving the project to
financial closure. The project is 99% completed and we want the new hire to be trained in
closing this project and be made project manager in the current running project where we
are acquiring 2500 Acres for the same client. The training will be for 90 days in this project.
Key Responsibilities
• Resolve Pending Land & Payment Issues:
- Monitor and close pending lease amount payments to farmers.
- Convert Agreement to Lease (ATL) lands into full lease registrations.
- Finalize and settle sale commitments with farmers.
• Stakeholder Negotiation & Settlement:
- Negotiate and liaise with local leaders for full and final settlements.
- Build trust and maintain strong relationships with farmers, local influencers, and
authorities.
- Act as the interface between Site team, Hyderabad office, and Client (SAEL) Delhi
office.
• Project Supervision:
- Oversee and supervise the last leg of boundary wall construction and site development
works.
- Ensure compliance with land documentation, title clearances, and project
requirements.
• Problem Solving & Execution:
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and resolve disputes (title not clear, possession issues,
outside project boundary cases).
- Coordinate with legal, operations, and finance teams for seamless execution.
- Ensure all records, trackers, and updates are consistently maintained and reported.
Qualifications & Skills
• Graduate / Postgraduate (preferred in Law, Management, Diploma or Engineering).• 5–10 years’ experience in land acquisition, operations, or project execution, preferably
in renewable energy / infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to handle farmer/community relations and resolve disputes.
• Experience in managing registrations, title clearances, and lease documentation.
• Willingness to travel frequently between project site (Bidar/Kurnool), Hyderabad office, and
Client office (Delhi) in solving the issues. Knowing Kannada Language is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ability to work with trackers.
