Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Oversee the overall functioning and coordination of all Operation Theatres.
Plan and schedule surgeries in coordination with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams.
Supervise OT staff, manage duty rosters, and ensure optimal utilization of manpower and resources.
Ensure adherence to infection control, sterilization, and aseptic techniques in all OTs.
Coordinate with CSSD, ICU, and other departments for seamless pre and post-operative patient flow.
Maintain accurate OT records, equipment logs, and inventory of surgical supplies.
Ensure compliance with NABH standards and hospital policies.
Support training, audits, and quality improvement initiatives within the OT complex.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate with Hospital Administration qualification (preferred).
10-15 years of experience in
OT coordination and management
in a reputed multi-specialty or NABH-accredited hospital.
Strong leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of OT procedures, protocols, and biomedical equipment handling.
Proficient in MS Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
