Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Supervising and coordinating staff:
This includes nurses, technicians, and other personnel involved in surgical procedures.
Managing resources:
Ensuring the availability of necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies for each operation.
Maintaining a safe environment:
Implementing and enforcing infection control policies and procedures, and managing hazardous waste.

Providing intra-operative support:
Assisting with equipment setup, instrument handling, and other tasks during surgery.
Ensuring compliance:
Adhering to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Managing and maintaining equipment:
Ensuring that all surgical equipment is in good working order and properly maintained.
Collaborating with medical teams:
Working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Continuous improvement:
Identifying areas for improvement in workflows and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and patient safety.
Budgeting and financial management:
May be involved in managing the OT budget and tracking expenses.
Training and development:
May be involved in training and mentoring junior staff.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferably Qualification: MBBS. BAMS, BHMS, BDS or Any medical background
