Job Description

New product development & value addition to exist products
Product Re- Engineering through ingredient Solution for cost optimization
Conducting Lab trial as we'll as online trials for new products
Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, marketing, sales departments for any new product launching
Drafting Raw material and finished goods specification for new products
Revision of raw material and finished goods specification as and when required
Developing SOP / rules and ensuring their implementation
Shelf Life Study of Various products.
To provide regulatory inputs for regulatory compliance for all Products for domestic as we'll as export market
An understanding of technical standards, PFA/FSSAI standards, CODEX Standards, Nutritional labeling etc
To keep abreast of changes in regulations relating to the all products including changes in standards labeling, Nutrition Labeling, additives and new additives, Formulation Clearances
To prepare scientific and technical background notes, on any issue related to ingredients, formulations, additives, as and when required.
To review formulations for the Products, for compliance with the current approval lists and regulations and provide inputs for all proposed innovations.
To routinely check/comment/correct/approve all artworks, back of pack labels and other printed materials related to all products including pack change proposals.
Data mining and preparing crisp and science-based notes
To review claim support data and point out deficiencies of data for product claims to be written on Product.
Should be comfortable working and tasting with Non veg products

Educational Qualification & Experience:

B Tech with 4 to 5 years

MSc M Tech with 2 to 4 years

Experience in NPD / R & D of Frozen Foods, QSR, seasonings, breadcrumb manufacturer, Culinary industry
