Job Description

Manager - Microfinance
Job Purpose
Responsible for achieving critical parameters including business growth, portfolio management, and employee attrition as required by management. Oversees team members of the branch on people metrics and ensures compliance with all required standards for the branch. Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct daily reviews with team members regarding business projections, cross-sell, center meetings, and activity plans for the day.

Ensure execution of the defined activity plan for customer visits by the team.

Supervise and monitor branch activities, conduct team huddles, and resolve operational issues.

Attend center meetings, meet customers, and conduct Group Recognition Tests based on the operating model.

Track and facilitate disbursements as planned for the day and month.

Ensure 100% compliance with all business policies and SOPs for the branch.

Assist in collections cases in higher buckets, collaborate with teams, and jointly visit customers.

Nominate team members for rewards and recognition based on achievements; appreciate team members in internal forums as relevant.

Ensure execution of critical parameters, such as lead to login, as per matrix requirements.

Meet customers regularly and manage the health and quality of the portfolio as per defined targets.

Manage upkeep of the branch and all collaterals; coordinate with Product and Admin teams for branch hygiene and facility maintenance.

Major Challenges

Employee attrition.

Maintaining portfolio quality and monitoring to meet defined targets.

Ensuring compliance with all business parameters and achieving zero audit findings for the branch.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications: Graduation

Work Experience: 4-6 years in Microfinance Joint Liability Group (JLG) business, with a minimum of 2 years as Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager.
