Job Description

Role & responsibilities: Drive logistics team to achieve annual sales plan (ASP) which is aligned with business plan of organization Identify areas, take actions, minimize thrust and improve profitability in logistics process Establish and monitor system to address all customer requirements in documentations, transportations , Ensure zero customer complaints and rejection due to logistics process Capture, implement and review customer requirements (inclusive of specific requirements) in process of packing and logistics Implement and maintain norms of Safety,5's, Kaizen, TPM etc. Establish and monitor system to address contingencies in customers orders fulfillment and ensure on time deliveries, maintain good score in delivery performance Review the performance of logistics process and take actions to improve upon Review and ensure compliance of all types audit points as per set target dates Cost saving initiatives, plan, implement and validate results from finance department as per set time line Implement and maintain ,QMS(IATF 16949),EMS (ISO 14001) and OHSAS (ISO 45001) requirements at all stages wherever necessary, ensure no violation of systems in plant operations Preferred candidate profile: Experience of handling Logistic - Shipping function in Press Forging, Machining and Auto components manufacturing companies like us. Also manage the team of 4-5 members of material handlers - logistic supervisors / helpers etc. in all 2 or 3 shifts of the day as required.
