Role Overview: You will be joining Medpace as an IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the Navi Mumbai and APAC team in expanding the company's IT footprint beyond the US and EU. Your role will involve managing global IT infrastructure, overseeing physical aspects, and ensuring compliance with technology standards and procedures. You will have the opportunity to propose enhancements, resolve technical problems, and supervise a team of Systems and/or Network Engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Manage global IT infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, switches, servers, virtual hosts, storage systems, phone switches, and other equipment. - Oversee the physical aspect of the global infrastructure, such as datacenters, physical plant cabling, and network closets, ensuring compliance with standards and procedures. - Supervise backup, restore, and archive processes for Medpace servers, ensuring successful daily completion and escalating issues when necessary. - Act as a liaison to Software Development, System Owners, and other teams when IT Infrastructure is involved. - Research, propose, and implement enhancements to Medpace IT infrastructure and procedures to align with company objectives. - Train and develop Systems and/or Network Engineers. - Identify, research, and resolve technical problems related to Medpace IT infrastructure. - Perform other tasks associated with IT infrastructure management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft and CISCO equipment and products. - Project management experience in IT Infrastructure. - Competency in managing IT staff, both within supervision and dotted line staff. - Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills in English. - Knowledge of Azure technologies preferred. - Experience in a clinical (or regulated) environment is a plus!
