Manager Iron Ore Purchase

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee our iron ore procurement operations. You must possess strong industry knowledge, hands-on experience in trading/procurement, and the ability to negotiate and execute high-value contracts while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Your responsibilities will include sourcing iron ore (lumps, fines, pellets) from miners, traders, and suppliers, negotiating pricing, quality, and delivery terms with vendors, coordinating logistics such as rake allotment, port operations, warehousing, and shipping, managing vendor relationships, tracking global and domestic market trends to support pricing and strategy, and ensuring compliance with various regulations and norms. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling documentation including LCs, Bank Guarantees, contracts, and customs paperwork, preparing MIS reports, monitoring trade P&L, and providing management with timely updates. The ideal candidate should be a graduate in any field with 5-10 years of proven hands-on experience in iron ore trading and procurement. You should have a deep understanding of iron ore grades (Fe%), lumps, fines, and pellets, as well as knowledge of mining operations, beneficiation, logistics, and Goan mining regulations and clearances.
