Support instrumentation project activities to ensure timely completion of all project phases including engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
Assist in the review of detailed engineering documents from FEED/EPC/EPCM Contractors, including MR/PR/TBE/VDR for DCS/PACKAGE PLC/MMS/ITCC, ASC, Analyzer System, Field Instrument, Document Control Index, Control Narratives, Control System Architecture drawings, Electrical-Instrument Interface, Cable Schedule, Wiring Diagrams, Control Room Layout (CCR), Overall FO Network Block Diagram, Instrument Air Distribution drawings, Point Database, Instrument Index, Cause & Effects (IPS & FGS), P&IDs, Fire and Gas layout drawings, Function Logic Diagram, and Control System documents.
Review vendor lists, MTO, scope of work, spares requirements, vendor data, ITP, and FAT/SAT procedures.
Participate in safety studies such as PHA, Hazardous Area Classification studies, HAZOP & SIL Studies, and follow up on study recommendations.
Coordinate the interface of Fertilizer Instrumentation systems with power transmission systems and other facilities, including load management systems and standardization of instrumentation equipment.
Participate in equipment and material inspections, monitor material dispatch, and coordinate with third-party inspectors.
Conduct/participate in instrumentation inspections (FAT/SAT/IFAT) and clearance of equipment during various project stages.
Provide engineering support during instrumentation equipment erection, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of the plant. Support the development of best operational management systems concerning Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, Social, and good engineering practices with continual improvements in coordination with the Plant Head.
Engineering: In-depth knowledge of instrumentation systems and related engineering principles; staying abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in instrumentation systems to minimize downtime.
Safety and Environmental Compliance: Good knowledge of industrial safety, environmental standards, and regulatory compliance; ability to implement and enforce protocols, conduct risk assessments, and produce reports on findings; skills in implementing environmentally friendly and sustainable production practices.
Quality Control: Proficiency in quality management systems and methodologies; experience with process optimization and continual improvement techniques.
Troubleshooting: Ability to guide engineers in resolving commissioning technical issues during plant commissioning.
Cost Optimization: Familiarity with costing and budget preparation.

B.Sc./B.Tech/B.E. in Instrumentation Engineering
Experience: 15+ years Certifications:
ETAP certification will be an added advantage
15+ years of experience with B.Sc./B.Tech/B.E. in Instrumentation Engineering.
Project experience in a consulting organization for design engineering/procurement/inspection of instrumentation equipment for large process plants.
Familiarity with reputed construction organizations and international codes for instrumentation equipment installation.
Experience in the use of international safety standards at construction sites.
