As a Manager, Technical Writing, you will play a crucial role in leading the documentation team to produce user-centric product documentation that enhances product adoption and user experience. Your responsibilities will include strategic leadership, team management, content creation, performance evaluation, and global collaboration. Responsibilities: - **Strategic Leadership:** - Develop and execute a strategic plan for technical documentation in alignment with organizational goals. - Establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, and processes for consistency and quality. - **Team Management & Mentorship:** - Lead and mentor a team of technical writers, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. - Provide guidance to technical writers, review high-impact content, and enable team members to take the lead in documentation initiatives. - **Content Creation & Collaboration:** - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect technical information and create user-friendly documentation. - Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality. - **Performance & Improvement:** - Develop metrics to evaluate documentation impact, track team performance, and identify areas for improvement. - Stay updated on industry trends and tools to incorporate best practices in technical writing. - **Global Collaboration:** - Experience working globally to drive deliverables across different time zones. Qualifications: - Proven experience in leading and managing a technical writing team. - Strong leadership skills to inspire, guide, and develop a team. - Exceptional English communication skills focusing on clarity, accuracy, and user engagement. - Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience in developing documentation standards and strategies at scale. - Strong organizational and project management skills, handling multiple priorities. - Familiarity with SaaS products, APIs, and cloud-based technologies preferred. - Demonstrated experience in incorporating AI tooling for enhanced output.
