Job Description

Supervise a growing IT engineering team in India, overseeing critical IT automation, AI, and DevOps projects.
Develop metrics and dashboards to provide business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports.
Manage technical requirements gathering, technical gap analysis, and contribute to backlog grooming.
Integrate and implement best practices and DevOps methodologies in every step of the IT engineering process.
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices.
Provide formal performance management support and review to all direct reports.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, engineering, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in an IT Engineering role, with at least 3+ years of managing small teams.
Strong experience working with APIs in Javascript (Node.js), Python, or Go.
Strong expertise in AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
Experience with containerization tools, including Docker.
Solid understanding of source code versioning and exposure to Git, GitHub.
Must be detail-oriented, self-organized, committed to quality, and capable of tracking multiple work streams simultaneously.
Ability to work in a fast-changing, dynamic, and agile environment, including the ability to manage time and maintain an excellent work ethic.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
Developed and managed applications in a team environment.
Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
Expertise with SIEM Splunk service.
Expertise in corporate networking and email infrastructure, CCNP+ knowledge.
Experience with Terraform.
