JOB SUMMARY:

The SCM Operations Governance Lead is a pivotal role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining governance structures that permits, database management and inventory optimization for North America Region. The individual is expected to lead a team of 5 individual contributors effectively to achieve organizations strategic objectives. The individual in this role will lead efforts to harmonize processes, mitigate risks, and embed a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain ecosystem.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.

  • Creation & correction of material and customer code in line with already defined practices
  • Identification of missing database elements and working with stakeholders to fill missing data
  • Supporting data migration during implementation of new software
  • Extending product and customer from one plant/organization to another

2.

  • Responsible for setting, monitoring & achieving annual SLOB inventory targets in conjunction with planning target
  • Develop and drive implementation of SLOB inventory management policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures leveraging best practices
  • Build collaborative relationships with the extended supply chain planning team, plant teams, finance and the Procurement & Logistics teams to understand drivers of inventory projections, challenge to achieve inventory targets, and highlight risks and opportunities

3.

  • Preparation of monthly sales data of products that require special permits
  • Tracking consumption of critical substances purchases which require special permits

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Masters degree or professional certification
  • 8–12 years of experience in supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing governance structures for complex supply chains.
  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain processes, database management and inventory optimisation
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP and supply chain tools such as SAP.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
