Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of Weekly aging of debtors along with actions and updates.
Prepare and send daily/ weekly/ monthly reports as required in AR SOP and credit policy.
Ensure DSOs are within budget
No credit is granted without approvals as per authority matrix
Approved credit limits are not exceeded in any case
Balance confirmation with the customers is obtained on a quarterly basis by respective sales personnel within 10 days from the end of the quarter and reconciliation statement prepared and submitted to BU Finance and BU Head.
Process for monitoring and review is in place to ensure adherence to the credit policy, track daily exposure, track-record of payments, etc
Credit agreements are signed wherever credit is expended to the Customers.
Ensure SOP on AR and Credit policy are followed.
Update on daily basis about the invoices raised but payment not received.
Attend the queries of Customers and issue credit notes whenever required with the approval as per authority matrix and SOP on AR.
Visit customers wherever there are issues and needs to be resolved in person.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

AR experience in a logistic company would be an added advantage
