Hiring Criteria: CA Finance & Operations

Role Overview:

A proactive Chartered Accountant who not only manages compliance and accounting but also monitors operational risks and cost leakages (e.g., demurrage, storage charges, delayed vendor payments). Someone who thinks like a business partner.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1–3 years post-qualification experience

Strong command of GST, TDS, monthly closing, financial statements

Experience with Tally Prime and/or ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)

Work Experience Preference:

Experience in manufacturing/import-based industries

Demonstrated tenure of 2+ years in the same organization (stability and loyalty)

Key Capabilities:

Strong commercial awareness of logistics-related finance items:

Customs duties, freight, insurance, warehousing charges

Monitoring and escalation of demurrage risk and shipment delays

Ability to track project/capex spending against budget

Cash flow monitoring and vendor payment discipline

Problem-solver who flags issues early and follows through until closure

Behavioral Competencies

Proactive

Detail-oriented and organized — no leakage in data or deadlines

High integrity and confidentiality

Clear communication — firm with vendors, concise updates to management

Comfortable working closely with senior leadership.

Preferred candidate profile

Having experience in Manufacturing industry.
