Job Responsibilities Chartered Accountant (CA)

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with

  Companies Act, Accounting Standards (Ind AS)

  and internal policies.
• Prepare

  monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  , MIS reports, and management dashboards.
• Finalize

  Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements

• Monitor plant-wise and project-wise accounting for multiple manufacturing units.
  

Costing & Budget Control

• Implement and monitor

  cost accounting systems

  for manufacturing and fabrication activities.
• Analyze

  product costing

  , job costing, and variance analysis for oil & gas equipment projects.
• Track

  material, labor, overhead, and conversion costs

  to ensure cost control and margin protection.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and periodic cost reviews.
  

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Handle

  GST compliance

  including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC reconciliation, and annual returns.
• Manage

  TDS compliance

  (salary, contract, professional, vendor payments) including returns and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with

  Income Tax Act

  , assessments, notices, and audits.
• Manage

  customs duty, import/export documentation

  , and related reconciliations for imported raw materials or equipment.
• Ensure timely statutory payments and filings under applicable laws.
  

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate

  statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and cost audits

  .
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and compliance frameworks.
  
• Address audit observations and implement corrective actions.
  

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

• Monitor and control

  receivables, payables, inventory, and cash flow

  .
• Finalize debtor and creditor reconciliations, including customer and vendor confirmations.
  
• Oversee

  banking operations

  , fund utilization, LC/BG management, and credit facilities.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital optimization plans.
  

Commercial & Contract Support

• Review

  commercial terms in customer and vendor contracts

  , including payment terms, taxes, LDs, and milestones.
• Support pricing decisions, margin analysis, and tender costing for oil & gas projects.
  
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Production, and Project teams for financial inputs.
  

Systems & Process Improvement

• Implement and strengthen

  ERP systems

  for finance, inventory, and project accounting.
• Improve documentation, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.
  
• Support digitalization and automation of finance processes.
  

Key Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  manufacturing accounting, taxation, and compliance

• Experience in

  oil & gas / heavy engineering / EPC environment

• Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong coordination skills
