Manager - Finance

Role & responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Conduct variance analysis and monitor key financial metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for cost optimization and profitability improvement. Accounting & Compliance Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting as per IND-AS / IFRS. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance (Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, etc.). Costing & Inventory Control Review and control manufacturing costs, raw material costing, and process costing. Analyze production and operational efficiency to control cost leakages. Coordinate with plant finance teams to monitor inventory valuation and reporting. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Monitor cash flows, working capital, and treasury operations. Coordinate with banks for fund management, credit lines, and forex management. Internal Controls & Audit Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and financial discipline across units. Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure timely audit closures. Business Partnering Support business heads with financial insights for strategic decisions. Conduct feasibility and financial modeling for capex, expansions, and new business initiatives. Preferred candidate profile Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification is a must. 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in manufacturing / chemical / process industries. Strong knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, costing, and financial controls. Proficient in SAP / ERP systems and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
