Job Description

Primary:

Undertake Market Intelligence activities in the Overseas market to gain insight into the market dynamics as a critical input toward formulating an effective marketing strategy for KBL in the region:

  • Study the market to identify existing market segments
  • Obtain relevant information on economic indicators in the region
  • Conduct competitor analysis studies to be informed of competitor activities in the region, and convey the information to the HOD / reporting manager
  • Conduct a detailed Market Mapping exercise to identify critical attributes, such as market size, growth rate, key drivers, market share for KBL and key competitors, Gap Analysis between target and present market share, addressed and unaddressed markets

Identify opportunities for business and market development for KBL in the region

  • Provide inputs toward identifying avenues for business development and brand development for KBL in the overseas market countries

Formulate marketing strategies to enhance KBL's presence in the overseas market

  • Define the target market for KBL, the existing segments and KBL's competitive positioning therein
  • Deploy marketing initiatives to establish KBL's positioning and secure additional market share in the region
  • Plan and implement initiatives to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and create long-term delighted customers in the region
  • Provide inputs to set and achieve regional AOP

Development of key account management and agents

  • - Drive and support strong relationships with big and strategically key accounts in the Identified countries- Liaise with key contacts / officials on a regular basis and build long term relationships with them.
  • Appointment of the commercial agents in the respective countries and review them for the desired o/p. This relationship to be connected with the Reporting Manager or the designated Authority on regular Basis

Travel to the identified countries, Heading meetings with the departments and government administrative officials and submission of reports

Ensure implementation of the critical elements of the marketing strategy in the region, such as

  • Sales Order Booking
  • Recovery
  • Sales-Cost Ratio
  • Profit

Ensure effective operations by coordinating activities through the region

  • Provide inputs to develop efficient processes and systems for the region
  • Ensure implementation of these processes by overseeing operations and coordinating between key stakeholders
  • Plan and implement initiatives to improve efficiency in operations, achieve cost reduction and improve cash flow
  • Oversee matters pertaining to office administration

Provide monthly updates to the HO regarding

  • Key developments in the region
  • Achievement of milestones as per plans
  • Updates regarding new investments and business opportunities in the region

Support the execution of international project orders by serving as the key communication interface between clients, partners and sectors during the execution phase

Conduct a Lost Order Analysis at regular intervals to track updates on this front and minimize financial loss for KBL

Ensure the support for key account management

  • Drive and support strong relationships with big and strategically key accounts in assigned countries

Liaise with key contacts / officials on a regular basis and build long term relationships with them
