Job Description

  • Achieve targeted OEE, machine uptime.
  • Asset efficiency, optimized wastages .
  • Drive process improvements, packaging value engineering.
  • Optimized spares and maintenance cost.
Customer Service
  • Achieve targeted OTIF and agreed service levels with customers.
  • Reduction in customer/consumer complaints.
Internal Processes
  • Set and monitor the performance of the plant equipment s against standards and targets in areas such as equipment uptime, MTTR, MTBF etc.
  • Support audits of FSSC 22000, ISO 45000, SA 8000 and other related standards.
  • Responsible for meeting established operating budgets; monitor the cost and effectiveness of engineering activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve targeted OEE for the plant and regulatory compliances.
  • Ensure high levels of productivity & engagement within Technical Crew & factory teams.
  • Ensure plant wastage due to equipment breakdowns are to the minimum as per targets.
  • To set and monitor performance of Utility operations, Maintenance & engineering stores.
  • To set and monitor Calibration of equipment s including those related to Legal metrology.
  • To lead Condition Monitoring &Plant Preventive Maintenance of all Machines & Utilities.
  • To drive trainings to develop engineering skills of the plant team in way of Autonomous maintenance.
  • To ensure and drive systems such as Root cause analysis, Corrective action, and preventive action system in place to ensure continuous improvement.
  • To monitor and ensure all regulatory compliances pertaining to Factory Plan & approvals, Electrical Inspectorate & other regulatory approvals.
  • To drive closure of Safety and quality requirements of the unit and ensure to get timely certification of unit from certification agencies.
  • To drive and monitor Energy, water consumption of the factory and to find opportunities to improve the same and to drive capex related to it
  • To overview Spares Planning & Procurement, Vendor selection and performance evaluation.
  • Should be able to interact with internal stakeholders like production, Safety, quality, HR and resolve the issues in day-to-day activities.
  • Drive / collaborate in Improvement Initiatives PI, QC,Kaizen , 5S etc. to improve the plant efficiency

  • To derive requirements of Plant long term capex planning basis the business requirements
  • To monitor capex spends, cashflow and ensure to meet the capex target timelines.
