Manager - Engineering & Projects

As the leader of the Engineering Function at the site, your role involves providing direction and oversight to various departments including Utilities, Projects, E&I, Maintenance & Reliability, and Facilities. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that operations meet safety, quality, environmental, production, and cost objectives. You will be responsible for establishing an efficient operational structure for the Engineering Function at the site. Your key responsibilities include: - Maintaining utilities equipment at the highest safety standards to prevent accidents and conducting thorough investigations with corrective actions when necessary. - Leading and implementing Utility Excellence Program and Op Ex Tools for continuous improvement initiatives and achieving Utility CIP Savings and energy efficiency goals. - Setting ambitious goals and targets for departments, tracking performance using KPIs, and implementing preventive & predictive maintenance programs effectively. - Providing continuous engineering support, services, and utilities to manufacturing operations to meet plant goals. - Managing capital projects and commissioning to meet KPIs and taking necessary corrective actions during crisis situations. Additionally, you will collaborate with Regional/Divisional Teams on UEx initiatives, promote knowledge sharing within the function, work with HR for recruitment, ensure contractors comply with safety norms, maintain statutory compliances for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and build effective relationships with vendors and statutory bodies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 15 years of experience in relevant industries. - 5 years of management experience with multidisciplinary teams and key evaluation criteria including communication skills, interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, analytical & execution skills, problem-solving tools knowledge, TPM ways of working, and people management skills.,
