Manager - Engineering (Project Mgmt-Plastic Injection)

1. Plan projects for new products and running changes according to APQP Phases or customer specific requirements.

2. Communicate directly with customers to align timing plans, risk information and escalate critical issues.

3. Lead weekly reviews of open projects with the Customer Team, and define actions required to meet project goals

4. Report the status of projects to customer and internal organization, escalating issues through project weekly review meetings.

5. Organize cross-functional reviews of product designs and drawings to ensure design for manufacture, quality and reliability

6. Prepare and issue key control documents as per APQP, customer specific requirement or organization procedures.

7. Ensure communication with plants and other functions, through presentations at projects kickoff meeting and at key milestones

8. Co-ordinate the creation in IFS/SAP of key master data for new products

9. Lead the closure of completed programs, providing data on actual performance vs plan, and capturing lessons-learned

10. Maintain key project documents in the APQP project file, in compliance with QMS requirements.
