As a Health & Safety Manager at SAVA Healthcare Limited in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing workplace health and safety plans to ensure compliance with local and national regulations. Your responsibilities will include preparing, updating, and enforcing health and safety policies to foster a culture of safety within the organization. You will be tasked with evaluating existing procedures and facilities to identify risks, conducting training programs on accident prevention, and monitoring adherence to health and safety protocols through inspections and audits. Your role will involve inspecting equipment and machinery for potential hazards, investigating accidents and incidents to determine root causes, and managing workers" compensation claims. You will be expected to recommend corrective actions, preventive measures, and process improvements to enhance workplace safety. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and presenting reports on health and safety performance, incidents, and compliance statistics. The ideal candidate for this position will have proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager in a manufacturing setup. You should possess a strong understanding of occupational health and safety laws, regulatory compliance, and risk assessments. Proficiency in data analysis, safety metrics, and report creation is essential. Attention to detail, observation skills, and effective communication are key attributes required for this role. Moreover, strong organizational and leadership capabilities will be advantageous in fulfilling the responsibilities of the position. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Graduate / B.E. / B.Tech degree in a relevant field. Additionally, an ADIS / PDIS certification (Advanced/Post Diploma in Industrial Safety) is mandatory, and certification in Occupational Health & Safety is highly desirable.
