You will be responsible for managing the complete diamond product category, focusing on maximizing profitability, improving product assortment, and ensuring alignment with customer preferences and market trends. Your key responsibilities will include: - Category planning and merchandise assortment for diamond jewellery - Vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management - Product sourcing and new design development coordination - Pricing strategy and margin improvement - Inventory planning, stock turn optimization, and ageing control - Sales performance tracking and trend analysis - Market research and competitor benchmarking - Coordination with design, marketing, store operations, and supply chain teams - Ensuring product quality standards and diamond certification compliance - Planning promotions and seasonal collections Your key skills and competencies should include a strong knowledge of diamonds (4Cs Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat), understanding of diamond grading and certification standards, strategic planning and analytical skills, vendor and stakeholder management, negotiation skills, and leadership and team management.
