Manager- Design ( Architectural )

Role Overview

The Manager Architect will be responsible for leading the architectural design function within the real estate projects of the company. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure design intent, regulatory compliance, and timely execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design development for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects.
  
• Prepare, review, and finalize design concepts, working drawings, and detailed drawings.
  
• Coordinate with external architects, consultants (MEP, structural, landscape, interiors), and contractors.
  
• Ensure all designs comply with local bye-laws, building codes, and statutory regulations.
  
• Collaborate with project, engineering, and sales/marketing teams to align design with business objectives.
  
• Conduct design feasibility studies, site analysis, and space planning.
  
• Review and approve material specifications, finishes, and mock-ups.
  
• Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize cost without compromising design quality.
  
• Monitor progress of architectural deliverables and ensure timely submissions.
  
• Keep abreast of latest architectural trends, sustainable practices, and innovative materials.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualification

  : B.Arch / M.Arch from a reputed institution.

• Experience

  : 8- 12 years of experience in architecture/design, preferably in real estate development (residential, commercial, or township projects).
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, codes, and regulations.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office, and other design tools.
  
• Good knowledge of sustainable/green building practices.
  
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
