Summary of Position: The Manager, Data Engineering People Analytics is responsible for leading a team of data engineers, architects, and analysts to support strategic people decision making. The role is responsible for the development and maintenance of data systems and infrastructure to enable efficient data processing, storage, and analysis. Responsibilities may include designing and building scalable data pipelines, integrating data from various sources, optimizing data workflows, implementing data security measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements. This role demands understanding and management of metadata to complement data provisioning in compliance with global standards. The position necessitates maintaining strong working relationships within Data Management and cross-collaborating with IT for database related needs. In this career path, responsibility lies in achieving goals through guiding and managing others. Key Responsibilities: Leads a team of data engineers and Business intelligence analysts to support people analytics data infrastructure insights Responsible for the coaching and development of team Responsible for data architecture design, data governance processes, and automation to maintain high performing/high quality systems Responsible for the development and maintenance of data systems and infrastructure to enable efficient data processing, storage, and analysis. Responsibilities may include designing and building scalable data pipelines, integrating data from various sources, optimizing data workflows, implementing data security measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements. Responsible for designing developing reports, dashboards, and executive presentations to support strategic decision, including use of sensitive HR data. Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 7 to 9 Years of experience. Data Modeling Architecture for Efficiency Project Management Data Engineering (ETL) Metadata management Leadership and mentoring skills Executive Powerpoint presentations Data Analytics BI Dashboards (Tableau, Quicksight, PowerBI, etc.) Data Integrity Attention to detail, Insights to Action, Dashboards/Visualization High proficiency in SQL Preferred: Experience in Alteryx, AWS Stack (Athena, Quicksight, S3) Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST Relocation assistance: Yes Employment Scams: Alcon is aware of employment scams which make false use of our company name or leader s names to defraud job seekers.
