Job Description

As an experienced cybersecurity professional, you will be responsible for conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, focusing on web applications and external network security. Your key responsibilities will include: - Utilizing industry-standard tools and technologies for web application and external network penetration testing - Proficiency in Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), with development experience preferred - Familiarity with OWASP Testing Guide/Open Source Security Testing Methodology Manual - Holding certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CREST Penetration testing, or similar - Expertise in web application penetration testing tools like Burp, Fiddler, OWASP Zap, BeEF, and commercial solutions like Veracode or AppScan - Knowledge of network vulnerability/penetration testing tools like Metasploit, vulnerability scanners, Kali Linux, and Nmap - Creating actionable reports based on security testing results, covering various testing methodologies and security best practices for technologies like Windows Active Directory, network routing and switching, firewalls, and IDS/IPS - Experience in penetration testing, red teaming, and compliance assessments (e.g., PCI, HIPAA) along with frameworks like COBIT and ITIL - Testing strategy development, UAT governance, performance testing, and test automation - Experience in testing mobile apps for performance and security - Managing penetration testing services, providing expert consulting and gap analysis, and supporting application security tool deployments In addition to the technical qualifications, you should possess a BE (Mechanical/Computers/Electronics/B.Tech/MBA/BSc. IT) or CISA qualification. Other competencies required include being self-motivated, innovative, capable of handling stress, willing to travel, and meeting deadlines. This position requires 3-6 years of experience and is located in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, or Kochi.,
