Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for being an expert in costing and costing processes, leading the implementation of standard costing, and managing inventory including inventory valuation. Additionally, you will partner with the Factory Leadership team to achieve Factory KPIs and assist the Finance Controller in various audits and compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Drive Plant P&L at the gross profit level by managing Material cost, Labor, direct OH, and fixed OH parameters. - Monitor product costing closely, compare with standard cost, analyze variances, and provide continuous inputs for forecasted product margin. - Achieve Inventory turn at the factory, liquidate E&O inventory, and strengthen the purchase process to avoid new items being added to E&O. - Track CAPEX spend monthly, evaluate ROI, and facilitate management decisions on CAPEX proposals. - Assist in business decisions regarding Make or buy, Alternate vendor source, and impact of net landed cost. - Work on product costing for new products and ensure adherence to internal controls with SOX compliance. Qualification Required: - Total Experience in years: 4 years to 8 years - Graduation/ Degree: Qualified CA/CMA - Mandatory Certifications Required: Certified CA/CWA - Other preferred courses/certifications: Experience in SAP or any other ERP, experience in implementing standard costing process in a manufacturing environment.
