Job Description

As the HR Development Manager at Amgen, you will play a crucial role in identifying the company's training needs, developing and implementing learning and development programs, and evaluating their effectiveness to enhance employee performance and productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with annual processes and platform to align learning solutions with individual- and manager-effectiveness priorities - Collaborate with corporate clients to define and execute long-range performance strategies - Conduct needs analyses to identify performance opportunities and barriers, defining scope and deliverables of training solutions - Guide learning projects through governance and intake process - Act as a design consultant, supporting both clients and internal training development team - Enhance instructional and interactive strategies of core enterprise development products - Collaborate with Global Learning Solutions and IS/IT team to define technology roadmap for enterprise learning - Serve as a liaison between Talent team and internal learning development and technology team - Stay updated on learning platforms, tools, digital strategy, marketing, and trends in the learning space Qualifications Required: - Doctorate degree, or - Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or - Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or - Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or - High school diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience - Experience in instructional design, human performance technology, learning systems & platforms, life sciences, or business - Proficiency in performance consulting, needs analysis, eLearning design, learning technology, and virtual platforms - Familiarity with Agile or other design and development methodologies - Strong project management skills - Excellent communication and writing abilities - Capability to collaborate with staff across various organizational levels At Amgen, we value our employees" well-being and offer a Total Rewards Plan that includes comprehensive benefits, financial plans, work/life balance, and career development opportunities.
