As a member of the Finance team involved in business-critical decision-making through various accounting and FP&A functions, you will be part of the Controllership team responsible for managing Payroll Processing, Accounting and Compliance.
What youll Do:
As a member of the Controllership team, you will play a key role in managing month end close activities, preparation of Financials as per Ind AS, review schedules and reconciliations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead end-to-end financial close activities, including month-end and year-end closing procedures, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Preparation and review of financial statements in adherence to Indian GAAP/IFRS and company policies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, FEMA, and other applicable local laws.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and internal audits, including preparation of audit schedules and managing audit queries.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity
- Drive cash flow management, financial analysis, and performance reporting to support business decision-making.
- Track key financial metrics, manage cost controls, and advise on process improvements to optimize business outcomes.
- Support ERP implementation and lead process automation initiatives for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Liaise with cross-functional teams (legal, tax, business operations) to align on business strategy and compliance.
What youll Bring:
- CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent professional qualification and Bachelor s or master s in commerce, finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in accounting, financial control, or related domain, ideally in a multinational or large Indian company.
- Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, IND AS/IFRS, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/others), and automation tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with audit coordination, statutory filings, and risk management.
- Strong leadership capabilities and ability to drive process improvements across teams.
