Job Description

Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Contracts professional to manage the end-to-end contracts process for our projects, with a primary focus on contract management, estimation, and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in contracts and estimation, along with a working knowledge of interiors and finishing works (such as office interiors, lobbies, glass detailing, and windows).

Key Responsibilities:

Contracts & Estimation

  • Prepare BOQs based on technical specifications, design drawings, and scope of work.
  • Review and verify contractor bills and related documentation.
  • Prepare tender documents, work orders, and purchase orders.
  • Prepare cost estimates for projects, including both direct and indirect costs.
  • Assist in claims preparation in coordination with the Head Contracts.
  • Prepare monthly progress payments and final accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain measurement sheets and assist with quantity take-offs.

Procurement & Negotiation

  • Prepare comparison sheets for quotations from suppliers and contractors.
  • Negotiate rates, terms, and timelines with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value.
  • Monitor and record site progress to support contractor performance evaluation.

Project Support

  • Coordinate with site teams to track work progress, variations, and completion status.
  • Support interior and finishing works-related contracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Work on basic detailing requirements for interiors and finishing works as needed.

Systems & Reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all contract-related activities.
  • Maintain records in SAP/ERP systems and generate necessary reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / related field.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in Contracts and Estimation, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, tendering, BOQ preparation, and cost control.
  • Basic knowledge of interiors and finishing work contracts.
  • Proficiency in SAP/ERP and MS Office tools.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
