Job Description

A. Contract Administration

  • Review, interpret, and implement the main contract and subcontract agreements on site.
  • Ensure all parties comply with contractual terms, technical requirements, and project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and correspondence.
  • Track project deliverables, milestones, and contractual obligations such as notices, approvals, and submissions.

B. Claims & Variations Management

  • Identify potential variation orders, scope changes, delays, and entitlement opportunities.
  • Prepare, review, and submit claims (EOT, cost claims, disruption, etc.) in accordance with contract conditions.
  • Maintain claim logs and ensure timely issuance of contractual notices.
  • Support dispute resolution, negotiation, and settlement processes.

C. Commercial & Financial Administration

  • Support preparation of monthly progress reports and cost control documentation.
  • Coordinate with QS/Cost Control teams for payment certifications, BOQs, and cost tracking.
  • Review change orders, commercial correspondence, and cross-check with site progress.
  • Ensure alignment between project budget, contract value, and executed works.

D. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain structured contract filing systems (correspondence, approvals, variations, RFIs, etc.).
  • Prepare weekly/monthly contract administration reports for management.
  • Support audits, client meetings, and contractual workshops.

E. Coordination & Communication

  • Serve as a key liaison between site teams, client representatives, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Support the Project Manager with contractual advice and documentation.
  • Ensure that site engineers and supervisors understand their contractual responsibilities.

Core Competencies

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in preparing claims, variations, and contractual correspondence.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contract management tools i.e. Primavera
