Manager - Cloud Infrastructure Engineering

About the Role -

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Manager of Cloud Infrastructure Engineering to lead and scale our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. This critical role will be responsible for defining and executing our cloud strategy, driving innovation, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a high-performing cloud support team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, DevOps principles, and a proven track record of leading and mentoring the teams.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

* Develop and implement the overall cloud and DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives. Provide strategic guidance on cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and DevOps best practices.

* Lead and mentor a team of cloud and DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Development, Security, Operations) to ensure seamless integration and alignment.

* Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and DevOps trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches.

Cloud Infrastructure Management: (Must to Have)

* Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS etc.).

* Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of cloud-based applications and services.

* Manage cloud costs and optimize resource utilization.

* Implement and enforce cloud security policies and compliance requirements.

DevOps Practices: ( Nice to Have)

* Champion the adoption and implementation of DevOps principles and practices across the organization.

* Drive the automation of build, deployment, and release processes.

* Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

* Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions.

* Promote a culture of continuous integration and continuous delivery.

* Develop and manage the budget for cloud infrastructure and DevOps initiatives.

* Track expenses and ensure cost optimization.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

* 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with a focus on cloud computing and DevOps.

* Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and their services.

* Expertise in DevOps tools and technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes etc.).

* Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

* Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

* Experience with specific industry regulations and compliance standards.

* Experience with large-scale cloud deployments.

* Desirable to have CCSP Certification - Certified Cloud Security Professional Certification
