Job Description

This position provides functional expertise, leadership and direction while ensuring adequate staffing, training, and delivery.
Responsibilities:
  • Onboarding of new employees, including training on procedures and systems
  • Mentor, monitor, and supervise direct reports (including monitoring time reporting and training requirements)
  • Responsible for the hiring, promotion, transfer, and release of staff; participate in candi interviews
  • Conduct performance reviews and assist with goal setting of direct reports
  • Provide input on resource planning and assignments
  • Review metrics for department performance; identify and address risks or areas of concern
  • Implement and maintain performance metrics
  • Identify and drive process improvements
  • Provide leadership, strategic management and ensure overall quality of biometrics activities
  • Strong understanding of departmental and company procedures; ability to guide others on procedures
  • Participate in the development and revision of department SOPs
  • Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of clinical research best practices preferred
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are required
  • Minimum of 6 years direct experience in Biometrics within a CRO/ Pharma environment, working on global trials
  • The ideal candi will have 2 years of management/leadership experience, leading teams representative of diversity in India.
