Job Purpose : As a Manager - Graphic Design, you should understand the entire process of overall visual design requirements of a large account and the projects within/under the account. You will be responsible for shaping the visual output of various media files/elements. You will manage the day-to-day task of your team and ensure customer requirements are met and exceed expectations. You need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. You should be familiar with eLearning and the underlying principles of how visual design can impact learning. You should have a high-level understanding of design strategies, various types of learning modalities like microlearning, gamification, interactive videos, branching scenarios, mobile based learning, learning experience platforms, etc. Responsibilities: Participate in pre-sales activities (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc.) and create prototypes/pilots as per clients specifications and requirements. Responsible to provide innovative solutions to customers by using new technology, techniques, and creative ideas. Ability to work on effort estimates and the assumptions for the proposal/SOW based on the design solutions provided. Conduct team meetings from time to time and maintain a healthy work environment. Create and develop deliverables as per project specifications, quality standards, and design strategy. Conduct peer reviews of the deliverables at different stages of training development. Participate in org level activities induction training, project-specific functional training, recruitment activities (candidate interviews, test evaluations, etc.). Coordinate with Lead/Manager/Delivery Manager for different activities (planning, solutioning, training, RFPs/RFQs/RFIs, etc.). Attend client calls and ensure that the client's feedback and requirements are addressed. Participate in people management activities resolve conflicts, manage expectations. Manage large team and accounts. Coordinate with vendor to ensure the quality and timely delivery. Audit the graphic design processes. Key Tasks: Conceptualize visuals based on requirements and prepare rough drafts and present ideas. Oversee and manage design and layouts, and provide guidance as needed to the Design Leads. Attend design consultation meetings for unusual or large-scale projects. Create project specific design guidelines and checklist documents, also ensure adherence from the team. Work in all design and development tools (Adobe CC Suite, Articulate-360, Camtasia, and other rapid development tools, etc.). Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and maintain consistency. Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities and priorities in a dynamic and time-critical environment. Learn new tools, design approaches, methodologies as per the trends in graphic/visual design. Conduct team trainings, keeping in mind the current and future requirements of the industry. Communicate with team members and address all issues related to team morale. Expert in creating custom UI and custom interactions for rapid tools such as Storyline 360, Captivate, etc. Expert in Accessibility Compliance. Meet all project requirements and exceed expectation to WOW the customer with enhanced customer experience. Qualification: A Graduate in Fine Arts (GD Art, BFA, or MFA) OR A degree/diploma/certification in Graphic Design Added Advantage: Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors International (HFI), or AR-VR Certification.
