Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Timely and accurate Local GAAP accounting and Australia GAAP accounting. Overall responsibility for proper maintenance of all books of accounts for all the entities being supported by FSS- Monthly reconciliations/ variance reports/ compliance reports etc.
Regular interface and reporting to Country Finance by providing monthly closing files, variance analysis on financials, implementing any regional best practices etc.
Providing Financial MIS to countries being supported.
Supporting closure of statutory audits in local countries.
Supporting preparation of Budgets/ Outlook & forecast at regular basis.
MIS Should have strong hold on Management reporting.
Budgeting & Forecasting knowledge / Understanding of Budgeting & Forecasting processes. • Analytical skills - Should have clear understanding about ratios, %Growth & variance analysis. Should have handled reporting of Profit & Loss account.

Preferred candidate profile:

Qualification and Experience • Qualified Chartered Accountant.
5-6 years of post-qualification experience in MNC/ Large Indian Company.
Sound Knowledge of accounting processes and Accounting Conceptions.
Expert knowledge of Excel & Power point.
Hands on experience of working on ERP like Oracle/ JD Edwards/ SAP / BAAN etc.
Team Handling Should have handled team of 2-5 Accounting officers/ Executives.
Analytical skills able to interpret and present data effectively.
Ability to deliver within deadlines and under time pressure.
