Manager (Accounts & Finance)

As the Manager (Accounts & Finance) in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance functions. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integrity in financial operations to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Manage overall accounting operations including ledgers, bank reconciliation, and finalization of accounts. - Supervise day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Ensure accuracy of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements. - Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management. - Oversee GST compliance: returns filing, reconciliation, and assessments. - Handle TDS deduction, deposit, and quarterly returns. - Coordinate with auditors (Statutory, Internal, and Tax Auditors). - Ensure compliance with Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements. - Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts. - Monitor budget vs. actual and initiate corrective actions. - Implement cost-control measures to improve financial efficiency. - Conduct variance analysis, MIS reporting, and financial performance reviews. - Provide periodic management reports to Directors for decision-making. - Analyze profitability, risks, and financial trends. - Manage banking operations, fund flow, LC/BG documentation, and credit facilities. - Liaise with banks for loans, limits, and financial negotiations. - Manage and mentor the accounts team. - Assign tasks, review work, and build strong financial discipline across the team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
