Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and closing activities.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.

2. MIS & Financial Analysis:

• Prepare and present monthly MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial dashboards to senior management.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and support strategic decisions.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Assist in annual budgeting process, cash flow projections, and working capital management.
• Monitor actual vs. budgeted performance and recommend corrective actions.

4. Audit & Compliance:

• Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors.
• Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations and timely filing of returns.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal controls.

5. SAP & Process Automation:

• Manage and improve accounting processes within SAP environment.
• Leverage SAP for automation, reporting, and accuracy in financial operations.

6. Team Management & Coordination:

• Lead a small team of finance and accounts staff.
• Liaise with internal departments and external consultants for finance-related matters.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules) is a must
• Strong command over accounting principles, journal entries, ledger scrutiny
• Advanced MS Excel and report-building skills
