Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & ReportingPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, with a focus on balance sheet accuracy and completeness.Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings in accordance with Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP.Maintain compliance with statutory requirements and internal accounting policies.2. Balance Sheet ManagementLead the preparation and analysis of the balance sheet; perform detailed variance analysis.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to validate account balances.Monitor aging of assets and liabilities to ensure proper classification and treatment.3. Reconciliation & ControlsPerform GL reconciliations (including bank, intercompany, vendor/customer, and other key accounts).Investigate and resolve discrepancies and ensure clean audit trails.Establish internal controls to strengthen reconciliation processes.4. SAP FICO Module ProficiencyUse SAP for day-to-day accounting, reporting, and reconciliation activities.Support SAP-based closing activities; assist in configuration/testing during system upgrades or process improvements.Collaborate with IT/ERP teams to resolve issues and implement automation or process enhancements.5. Audit & ComplianceCoordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.Provide all required documentation and support during statutory, internal, and tax audits.Ensure compliance with company policies, tax laws, and financial regulations.Skills & Competencies:Expertise in SAP (FICO) and other accounting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI preferred)Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.Good understanding of accounting standards and practices.Eye for detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to manage deadlines and work in a high-pressure environment.
