Job Description

Role Overview: As a Manager-1, you will be responsible for leading a team of IT Professionals to develop and deliver quality software solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner. Your major accountabilities will include establishing and monitoring objectives for the department and staff members, leading cross-department initiatives, partnering with the business to drive strategic decisions, identifying opportunities for innovation, and making presentations to senior management and stakeholders. You will also be responsible for recommending technologies, leading process implementation, and managing project scope and resources effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and monitor objectives for the department and staff members - Lead development and delivery of major cross-department initiatives - Partner with the business to identify innovative solutions - Make presentations to senior management and stakeholders - Provide recommendations on technologies and strategic technical direction - Lead implementation of processes and supporting tools - Identify process gaps, provide estimates for business solutions, and manage project scope - Plan project scope and staffing to meet business needs - Manage project resources, skills, and behaviors effectively - Perform strategic and financial planning for the department Qualifications Required: - BS Degree or equivalent combination of experience and formal education - 5-8 years of experience in budget and resource management - Management experience with multiple diverse teams - Experience in conducting formal performance reviews - Advanced knowledge of Project Management, Strategic Planning, and finance - Understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to provide business or technical project planning for product enhancements Note: The job description did not contain any additional details about the company.,
