As a Management Trainee (MT) in this role, you will receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience in selling electrical projects and solutions. You will gain exposure to the technical, sales, and customer relationship management aspects of electrical projects, with a focus on developing key skills for managing large-scale projects and building client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their electrical project needs and offering customized solutions. Project Sales Support: Assist the sales team in preparing and presenting project proposals, bids, and quotes for electrical projects. Technical Understanding: Gain technical knowledge about electrical systems and products to effectively communicate with clients and provide accurate project solutions. Market Research & Lead Generation: Conduct market research to identify potential leads and business opportunities in the electrical project sector. Sales Presentations: Participate in meetings and presentations with clients to showcase the companys electrical solutions and project capabilities. Negotiation & Closing Deals: Learn negotiation techniques and assist in closing sales by addressing client concerns and finalizing contracts. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the technical, operations, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of electrical projects from start to finish. Reporting & Feedback: Track sales progress, client feedback, and project status, and report regularly to senior management to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Business Development : Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the electrical project sector. Develop strategies for market expansion, build a network of potential clients and collaborators, and represent the company at industry events and trade shows to enhance visibility and growth prospects. Qualifications Education: PGDBA or MBA. Experience: No prior sales experience is necessary, but previous exposure to electrical systems or project-based environments is a plus. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Interest in sales and a passion for the electrical industry. Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and explain them clearly to clients. Proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying sales opportunities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Personal Traits: Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive for success. Willingness to learn and grow in the field of electrical project sales. Adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Additional Requirements: 2-wheeler: Must have access to a two-wheeler for travel to client sites and project locations. Languages: Knowledge of Kannada will be an advantage as the role may involve interactions with local clients and stakeholders. Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Bangalore city landscape, including key project locations, routes, and infrastructure, will be beneficial for efficient client visits and project coordination.
