Electrical Planning Engineer

Job Description

1. Project Scheduling: Create and maintain a detailed project schedule, including timelines and milestones. Allocate resources (manpower, materials) based on project needs and site conditions. 2. Tender Document Review: Review project documents and submit necessary approvals (TDS, samples) to clients. 3. Material and Manpower Management: Identify and allocate materials and manpower as required by the project. Ensure timely ordering of materials that may have long lead times. 4. Progress Tracking and Reporting: Work with the project team to track progress and update schedules. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to the client. 5. Variation Management: Identify project changes and prepare variation statements for client approval. 6. Coordination with Teams: Collaborate with design, procurement, and other departments for smooth execution. 7. Material Reconciliation: Coordinate with the project team to track material usage and ensure proper reconciliation. 8. Project Handover and Closeout: Prepare all necessary documents for project handover and closure. 9. Budget and Time Management: Ensure the project is completed within the approved budget and timeline, addressing any issues that arise.Role & responsibilities Requirements: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in planning and scheduling for electrical projects. Strong knowledge of project management tools and software. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying project risks and opportunities for improvement. Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments.
