Maintenance Supervisor

Company Description

The company is an authorized distributor of SAIL, JSW, and RINL for flat and long steel products, as well as JSW Colouron+ roofing sheets. They also manufacture C/Z purlins and specialize in turnkey contracts for PEB and civil construction needs.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Supervisor, based in Manali, Chennai, India. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee daily maintenance operations, implement preventive maintenance schedules, evaluate the performance of equipment, and ensure their efficient operation. The role also involves managing maintenance and repair tasks, conducting inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, and leading a team to ensure timely completion of operational objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong Supervisory Skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively
• Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance techniques
• Expertise in Maintenance & Repair tasks and operational inspections
• Problem-solving skills with experience in Troubleshooting technical issues and system failures
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in equipment operation and maintenance
• Relevant certifications or vocational training in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus
• Prior experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in the steel or construction industry, is highly desirable
