Full job description Electrical: Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment, machines, and control panels in the plant. Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, drives, PLCs, and wiring systems to minimize production downtime. Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and compliance with statutory regulations. Maintain and update electrical documentation, panel drawings, and maintenance logs. Coordinate with the production team to plan maintenance schedules without affecting operations. Supervise and guide electricians and maintenance technicians during repair and installation work. Manage spare parts inventory for electrical components and raise material requests as needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying root causes of frequent failures and implementing corrective actions. Mechanical: Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, pumps, compressors, and production machines. Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure timely repairs to reduce machine downtime. Monitor equipment performance and take proactive measures to avoid unexpected failures. Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, service reports, and spare parts usage. Ensure compliance with safety standards and mechanical maintenance best practices. Plan and execute overhauling and periodic servicing of critical mechanical systems. Supervise technicians and vendors during mechanical repair and installation works. Identify recurring mechanical issues and support continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
