Maintenance Leader

As an experienced Maintenance Manager in a Tier I / II manufacturing plant, you will be responsible for leading and executing operational maintenance activities within the department. Your primary focus will be ensuring the uptime and good working condition of production machines and equipment to support production targets while adhering to safety, quality, energy consumption, and environmental requirements. Your key accountabilities and responsibilities will include leading the Maintenance team, preparing and adhering to the AM/PM calendar, attending to breakdown calls promptly, supporting and coaching team leaders, developing maintenance engineering functions, planning annual shutdown jobs and equipment replacements, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring a safe work environment for all team members. You will be expected to identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes, implement efficiency-boosting initiatives, and contribute to the development of departmental objectives and targets. Strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems will be essential for success in this role. Additionally, you will have the authority to sanction leaves, allocate resources, identify training needs, perform evaluations, and validate continuous improvements within the team. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical from a reputed university, along with 8-12 years of relevant experience, will be required.
