Maintenance Incharge

Key Responsibilities

• Routine and Preventive Maintenance: Plan, schedule, and supervise routine and preventive maintenance programs for civil structures (foundations, walls, roofs, roads, drainage systems, etc.) to maximize their lifespan and minimize downtime.
• Inspections and Assessments: Conduct regular, thorough inspections and assessments of buildings and infrastructure to identify potential issues, diagnose faults, and determine repair or maintenance needs.
• Project Management: Manage maintenance and minor construction projects from inception to completion, including scoping work, preparing cost estimates and budgets, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring timely delivery within budgetary constraints.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Respond to equipment failures and unplanned problems (emergencies) in a timely manner, diagnose the root cause, and implement effective, corrective repair solutions.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance and repair work adheres to relevant local, state, and federal building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, repair logs, and equipment performance metrics. Prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, other engineers (mechanical, electrical, etc.), and facility management staff to ensure coordinated and efficient operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is typically required, though a relevant diploma with significant experience may also be considered.
• Experience: Prior experience in civil maintenance, construction, or facility management is essential, with specific requirements varying by seniority level.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction materials, repair techniques, and building systems (structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety) is crucial.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
