Maintenance Head Sheet Metal Press & Utility Machines

Role Overview: You will be joining a company with a strong focus on innovation and quality under the leadership of Mr. Naresh Kansal, the managing director. The company has expanded its operations over the years and currently operates six plants with an annual turnover exceeding 80 crores. As the Maintenance Head for Sheet Metal Press & Utility Machines, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities for sheet metal presses and utility machines to ensure optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: - Lead maintenance activities for 60 press machines ranging from 63T to 1000T, covering mechanical and hydraulic systems. - Manage maintenance of DG sets, air compressors, VMC machines, and other tool room equipment. - Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for all plant machinery. - Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues. - Ensure smooth operation of utility services essential for press operations. - Supervise and develop the maintenance team, assigning and overseeing daily tasks. - Maintain compliance with Maruti MACE/VU documentation standards and practices. - Coordinate effectively with customers, handle technical audits, and represent the company under customer supervision. - Develop SOPs, checklists, maintenance logs, and ensure adherence to TPM, 5S, and safety protocols. - Efficiently manage spares inventory, AMC contracts, and third-party service providers. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance machine reliability. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance of sheet metal presses and utility machines. - Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems. - Experience in managing a maintenance team and coordinating with other departments. - Familiarity with TPM, 5S, and safety protocols. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
