Maintenance Head Sheet Metal Press & Utility Machines

As the Maintenance Head for Sheet Metal Press & Utility Machines, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery by overseeing maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead maintenance activities for 60 press machines (63T to 1000T), covering mechanical and hydraulic systems. - Oversee maintenance of DG sets, air compressors, VMC machines, and other tool room equipment. - Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for all plant machinery. - Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues. - Ensure the smooth operation of utility services essential for press operations. - Supervise and develop the maintenance team, assigning and overseeing daily tasks. - Maintain compliance with Maruti MACE/VU documentation standards and practices. - Coordinate effectively with customers, handle technical audits, and represent the company under customer supervision. - Develop SOPs, checklists, maintenance logs, and ensure adherence to TPM, 5S, and safety protocols. - Manage spares inventory, AMC contracts, and third-party service providers efficiently. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance machine reliability. Qualification Required: - Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience in maintenance management for sheet metal press and utility machines. - Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. - Ability to lead a maintenance team and coordinate effectively with other departments. - Familiarity with TPM, 5S, and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company in customer interactions.
