Maintenance Executive (For Our Boutique Property, Gular)

Job Title: Maintenance Executive

Location: Gular, Uttarakhand

Reports To: Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Executive to manage day-to-day upkeep and technical operations of our boutique property. The role involves ensuring smooth functioning of all critical systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, and guest room maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling on-site repairs, preventive maintenance, and general troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance:

o Oversee electrical systems including lighting, switchboards, sockets, and emergency power support.

o Conduct periodic checks and address any faults immediately.

2. Plumbing Systems:

o Handle routine plumbing issues including leakages, fittings, drainage, and water supply.

o Ensure proper functioning of water lines, washrooms, and sanitation systems.

3. Generator & Power Backup:

o Monitor generator operations, fuel levels, and routine servicing.

o Ensure seamless power backup during outages.

4. Water Management Systems:

o Manage water pumps, RO systems, and water supply to guest rooms and service areas.

o Address any malfunctioning or inconsistency in water flow.

5. HVAC & Conditioning:

o Maintain air conditioning units in guest rooms, restaurant areas, and common spaces.

o Monitor and maintain heat pumps, heating systems, and ensure efficient temperature control.

6. Room & Property Maintenance:

o Carry out basic repairs in guest rooms such as fixtures, fittings, furniture, and minor carpentry tasks.

o Ensure guest rooms and service areas are maintained in excellent condition.

7. Preventive Maintenance & Inspections:

o Conduct regular inspections and servicing of all major systems to prevent breakdowns.

o Maintain a log of maintenance schedules and repairs.

8. Coordination & Reporting:

o Coordinate with vendors for specialized servicing when needed.

o Report major issues promptly to the Property Manager and ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications & Experience:

· ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.

· 3–5 years of relevant experience in hospitality or residential property maintenance.

· Hands-on knowledge of electrical, plumbing, generator, and AC systems.

· Familiarity with basic carpentry and mechanical repairs.

· Punctual, dependable, and responsive to emergency calls.

· Basic knowledge of safety and operational standards in hospitality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
